Hand Stitch Embroidery Gift Tags - mckellarwarried
I've been hand-stitching cards since waaaaaay back in the day. Embroidery was my first have intercourse. It's such a fun craft and makes a resplendent handwoven natural endowment! These simple, yet elegant gift tags, will give a little extra handmade love to your gift!

Supplies for Embroidery Indue Tags:
- cardstock theme in 2 colours
- awl or push pin and cork trivet
- embroidery dental floss – I LOVE Sublime Stitching floss
- cross-stitch needle
- pair of scissors
- mucilage
- hole clout

To Stitch the Design: (see our basic stitching instruction post for greeting cards)
1. Cut off a small piece of cardstock into a 2×3 column inch piece.
2. Place your newspaper onto a cork trivet. Using your awl or push pin, punch holes into your paper into a intent. You can blank check your design or publish out a patterns. Take note: for the gift tag, print out patterns 50-75% little.

3. Total floss to your cross-sew needle and go stitching finished your cards, adding a knot to the seat of the weave (it should catch on the back of the calling card).
4. Stitch through each hole, change colors when needed. Tie a knot at the oddment on the plump for when you're done.

To Produce the Gift Tag:
1. Place glue on the back of your stitched piece. I like glue dots or spray adhesive the best.
2. Tot up your stitched piece to a second color of cardstock paper dig the shape of a gift tail.
3. Punch a hole at the top of your colored paper.

4. Add a diminutive floss to the top punched maw at the top of the tag, secure with a knot, and it's ready to ADHD to a talent – the perfect handmade accent!
